Sam Outlaw
Sam Outlaw
Sam Outlaw is a country singer living in Los Angeles.

He writes original songs that seek to capture the spirit of the

classic country music he learned from his favorite singers:

George Jones, Willie Nelson, Gene Watson, Don Williams,

Keith Whitley, Dwight Yoakam, etc.

He just completed a new full-length album, "Angeleno"

produced by roots music legend Ry Cooder.

Some of LA's finest musicians were hand-picked for the

"Angeleno" sessions, including Bo Koster (My Morning

Jacket), Taylor Goldsmith (Dawes), Gabe Witcher (Punch

Brothers), Danny Garcia (Reverend Baron) as well as Jeremy

Long (pedal steel), and Joachim Cooder (drums and co-

"Angeleno" will be released in 2015.
Michaela Anne
Michaela Anne
Upon releasing her 2014 album, Ease My Mind (Kingswood Records), singer-songwriter Michaela Anne garnered considerable acclaim for her introspective songwriting. The New York Times praised the “plain-spoken songs of romantic regret and small-town longing” and the Village Voice listed it among its Top 5 Country Albums of the year. Since then, however, this once-solitary diarist has transformed herself into a gregarious storyteller. Michaela Anne has discovered her inner extrovert.

Bright Lights and the Fame (Kingswood Records), recorded at Farmland Studio in Nashville, is full of sharp observations and easy wit, with several upbeat numbers tailor-made for the dance floor of the nearest honky-tonk. While there are gentler, more personal aspects to it that recall her earlier work, Bright Lights and the Fame displays a newfound brashness, starting with the album’s cover image, in which Michaela Anne sports a bedazzled denim outfit, a vintage find that’s perfect for catching the spotlight.
The Rifle & the Writer
The Rifle & the Writer
The Rifle & The Writer is a Canadian Country music duo comprised of siblings Rebekka Paige and Colby Latocha formed in 2015. In January of 2016, they recorded their debut album Flowers of Chance in Nashville, TN. Dealing with regret, failed relationships, and second chances, their debut album was an insight into the minds of two struggling musicians. The album, written entirely by the brother-sister duo, reflects on the fallout of previous failed musical pursuits, and what it takes to reach ones goals. With the release of their second single “Gig & Colour” in the fall of 2016, CBC Country/SiriusXM Canada declared them an emerging artist granting them nationwide airplay, joining nearly 20 other stations across the country eager to offer their support to their honest lyrics, and traditional sound. Flowers of Chance was released on March 20, 2017.
